Safe to say some time has gone by since I decided to pour my thoughts out onto my public blog. But I think its time to pick back up the pencil. Since I last published a lot has happened, including me moving out of my childhood town and into the city on my own.

There is a lot of emotion that goes into realizing you are in the process of growing up right before your eyes. Furnishing my first apartment, setting up gas and electric bills, paying rent, figuring out the best commute to work- its been a lot.

Within all the "adulting" there is this overhead feeling of playfulness as if you are in the dorms again in college. My friends and I watching rom coms and ordering sushi while drinking wine feels so 20's to me. Working from home some days in my living room next to our bar cart makes me think of the weekends. Running into each others rooms to talk about some wild happening in each others life or even just to sit in silence and scroll on our phone but enjoy each others presence.

We are in this in-between phase of life thats truly so sweet. So youthful yet baring the responsibilities of life on our own. (Lucky for me my mom is 30 mins away and I still talk with her everyday and see her most weekends) Things I look forward to these days are date nights, dressing up for an occasion, girls night maybe get dinner or a good martini, skiing on weekends and escaping the city life, everything showers, making tik toks for some reason is so fun for me, going to the gym everyday, and taking care of my mental health and my body.

I have so many updates and topics to chat about but this is a nice intro into 2025. LETS MAKE THIS OUR YEAR!!!!
